Some Feng Shui practitioners believe that the wealth position is in the living room and is diagonally from the entrance.

To enhance the wealth position, some Feng Shui practitioners believe that the decoration must be kept simple and objects that move or make a sound such as a clock, piano, fish tank, hi-fi should not be placed near it. Ideal to place a coin bank at the wealth position and include a pair of coins for a start and continue to contribute more coins.

I believe the idea of finding a "wealth corner" is to try to use tools such as for e.g. the Flying Star Theory to locate auspicious and inauspicious locations. Here, you stand a `better' chance of identifying the correct location of auspicious and inauspicious stars.
